Shoe care

Suede and nubuck: spray before first use with protection spray. When boots get wet, let them dry in a dry, well ventilated area (not close to the heating) and brush dirt of carefully with a soft suede brush. After each cleaning use the protection spray again. Never clean a suede or nubuck boot when wet.

Leather: use black shoe polish for black boots, use neutral shoe polish for all other colors. Do not use too much polish, it will close the leather The leather can’t breath anymore and will lose its quality. Use soft brushes and cloths.
Printed leather (snakes): very carefully cleaning with a soft damp cloth. Never use cleaning products.
Patent leather: cleaning with a soft damp cloth. Never use cleaning products.
Calf hair: cleaning with a dry cloth. Use protection spray.

For all boots: use a wooden shoe tree (cedar wood is best quality, it helps control the smell and absorb moisture) or fill with white paper (no newspaper) to keep the shape.
